Having celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2024, leading PSV parts distributor, Imperial Engineering, has been officially appointed as the primary distributor for all BYD electric bus parts throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.
The agreement with the global electric bus manufacturer includes components for all single and double deck BYD eBuses currently in service, in addition to parts in support of the new generation BYD11 vehicles that are entering the UK market, as operators strive to decarbonise their fleets.
From its major stockholding and distribution facility in Harlow, Essex, Imperial Engineering is fully geared up to serve operators and already has a significant inventory in stock. The company has implemented a major warehouse management system upgrade to support the BYD parts supply agreement and is introducing further measures to meet the growing demand from operators, as the popularity of BYD eBuses increases.
Alongside parts supply, Imperial Engineering is on hand to assist operators with identifying specific parts for their vehicles, as well as providing technical support where required.
